This is an interesting tintype in a carte de visite mount.
The image shows a Union soldier wearing a standard four button sack coat with large military buttons.
The photographer is out of Adrian, Michigan. In period ink at the top (photo #4) is what would appear to be an identification of "Warin Lent".
The name was probably added by a friend who received the photograph. His spelling is lacking as I would think that the soldier is actually "Warren". I have tried to decipher the who and have been stumped. I have tried both "Lent" and "Sent" and variations such as "Lents", "Lentz", "Lint", .... but haven't found any soldier that seems to fit.
The closest that I can find is a soldier named "Warren Clemens" who enlisted in Adrian, Michigan.
Any genealogy experts out there? Any and all help is welcome!
THANKS in advance!

I tried to do a bit of sleuthing, but I could not find anything either. Have you tried contacting the Lenawee County Historical Society (http://www.lenaweemuseum.org/) in Adrian? They may have a list of Adrian men who enlisted during the Civil War, which may help match up a name. I could not find any Civil War honor roll for Adrian or Lenawee County, but maybe that is something the historical society has and just has not been posted on the Internet yet.
I also found this book: Lenawee County and the Civil War (https://books.google.com/books/about/Lenawee_County_and_the_Civil_War.html?id=WF61DAAAQBAJ&printsec=frontcover&source=kp_read_button#v=onepage&q&f=false). The limited preview provided by Google does include a good portion of the book, including the acknowledgments. Maybe one of the organizations, or even the author, could help you track down the identity of this young soldier!
Thanks for the help history.
I used the HDS and NPS databases and can't find any soldiers close to the name as spelled (or misspelled?).
