Welcome to C.W.:)
It is an Army DUI (distinguish unit insignia). They used to be worn on the collars of the dress uniform and now are worn on she shoulders. I am not sure which unit this one is for.
Agreed. It's a "distinctive unit insignia" for the military (probably Army). It identifies a particular unit or command. Unless it was a very common unit, well known to all, it would be impossible to identify, aside from those who have seen it or worn it. There are literally thousands of them. Here's a complete guide for all issued distinctive unit insignia, if you have a lot of time on your hands:

Not a hard search. The colors and components usually provide enough information for a google search.
This is the DUI for the 21st FA:

While this took a few minutes to find, most DUI can be quickly found by entering the unit motto in a search engine (not found on this crest).

Nice work @scottvez. I was searching at 2 a.m. so my attention span was a bit short.
Thank you so very much.
Glad to help out.
This was actually a fairly quick find with less than a handful of searches (lots to go on). Those with a unit motto can usually be found on the first search.
