So this figurine appears to me to be European, maybe? Could be Red Riding Hood, except with the wolf being awfully nice. I don't have much to add beyond the photos. She is beautiful, about six inches tall, all hand painted, there are no maker marks, the base shows age crazing. Anybody have any ideas on who made her, and where, please feel free to share.
MYSTERY SOLVED: Identified on a Facebook group as English Staffordshire. It is Red Riding Hood, c.1860.
Thanks for the love, Newfld, fortapache, TassieDevil, and Caperkid. :)
