720-B Cherry-Wheeler Flat Triangle Barb. A second variety of this patent with dimensions 1.5" by 1.5" and deep cuts.
1249-B Smallwood Kink & Four Point Barb. A real neat sheet metal barb. I'm still looking for 1469-B.
1610-B Mosier Sprial Barbed Wire. Not as densely barbed as the illustration in Hagemeier and not as tightly coiled as the exhibit #406 in the Early Barbed Wires Specimens book. Also, the barbs are applied to the heavier gauge which sprials around the lighter gauge. Are there any out there that look like the book illustrations?
112-G Parallel Strands with "S" Barb. Most likely a Kelly variation that looks great in a hanging position.
I see what you mean about the Cherry-Wheeler. I'll measure mine at the NM show in a couple of weeks.
Impressive collection and great photos.
Keep em coming!
An amazing series of photos !!!!
