Loetz Cut to Clear bowl, crystal with blue exterior, ca. 1920s

This beautifully cut bowl is the latest in a series of Loetz cut glass pieces I have put together over the years. (thanks to Phil Macaulay for selling it to me). In fact, my very first CW post (more than 7 years ago), and it was of a bowl in a smaller version of this same shape, with a different cut pattern. At the time, it was the first cut to clear Loetz I had ever seen. Since then, I have found several others (some shown in the last photo). All of these date to the time after 1918. I wasn't prepared for the size of this bowl - 10" across! The large size provides an ample canvas for such a beautiful wheel cut decor.
