    I have no idea what this is or how old it is. Can someone help me identify it and what word or name is stamped into it? It is formed from 2 pieces. See pictures for visible seam.

      Just trying to figure out what era this piece came from and possibly what it is used for and what word is stamped in it. It has 2 pieces. See seal in the middle. No lid came with it when I purchased it from an elderly lady’s yard sale.

      Chinese. Some kind of factory from the mainland. I am guessing for large food storage like pickling.
