This is often mistaken as a Gil Hibben design, licensed to United Cutlery. All United Cutlery knives are made in Taiwan, as well as many of Hibben's licensed designs. Hibben had a long-term business relationship with United Cutlery in reproducing his more famous designs.

Gil Hibben is a legendary knife designer and maker. He is behind the creation of the bowie knives for Rambo, Rambo III and Rambo IV as well as a number of other movie productions. He licensed a good deal of his designs to United Cutlery for mass production.

This one is called the "Redneck Belt Clip Lockblade Knife". It was produced in 1993 but is not in the lineup of Gil Hibben designs. Any Hibben design made by United would have the name somewhere on the knife. This is strictly a United Cutlery design and production.
