    This record contains the complete 1934 "Tarzan and the Diamond of Ashir" story arc. The original radio broadcast consisted of 39 episodes that ran 15 minutes each. Tarzan was played by James "Big Jim" Pierce while Jane was played by Edgar Rice burrough's daughter, Joan Burroughs. James and Joan were real life husband and wife who were married on August 08, 1928 and remained together until Joan's death on December 31, 1972. James died on December 11, 1983.
