This was my Christmas gift from others. I have been collecting the Old Colony pattern by Hocking for a few years but there were many pieces I still needed. This pattern was made from 1935-38. Hocking made many pieces in this pattern. It would be quite a challenge to collect them all.
Included here are cups and saucers, luncheon plates, tumblers, and a pair of bowls.
In the last photo I have it all in the cabinet although some rearranging is needed. There are five more large plates not pictured. Note that not all the glass in the last photo are the same pattern.
Still using Madrid and Patrician by Federal for the everyday dishes.
Thoughtful and beautiful presents! You should use these for your birthday.
Nice collection, and i really like the tumblers and tea cups. The handles on the tea cups i think look the same as on my green Roulette cups. I'm trying to collect pink now. I have some nice Homespun fine items and a small pair of spiral candle holders i really enjoy.
I love that you have some to use on a day to day. I would love to do that.
Thank you very much racer4four. It is worthy of such an occasion.
Thank you very much Collectomaniac. I think most of mine is amber but not on display. I have some green and quite a bit of pink now.
Thank you very much Lamplover78. I got a large lot at a good price which helps.
