Found this pin in my parents things. No idea what it is from. Any help would be appreciated. If it is from my fathers service in Korea it would make a wonderful memory of him.

Found it: US Army 555th Airborne Field Artillery

It is a Distinctive Unit Insignia (DUI) for the 555th Field Artillery Bn. These are worn on each shoulder in a dress uniform.

It is NOT an Airborne unit-- probably confused with the 555th Airborne an African American Airborne Battalion during WW2 (never sent overseas).

The 555th Artillery was in Korea. It was part of the 5th Regimental Combat Team. If you look up the 5th Infantry and focus on the Korean War, you will find a lot of information about the 555th as well.
