    One more from the 'antique' ceiling fan pile (my "#2 favorite" of 'em?) likewise rescued from the same soon-to-be-gone rotten old house. This one is by WESTINGHOUSE and is a little smaller in length, probably about 2' long overall,. It kinda looks like it was always painted gloss black, and is interesting because its (sadly also now missing entirely) blades and their brackets were obviously meant to be attached to the outside of its cast iron (?) 'outer housing', the whole of which rotates around the inner (red colored in pic one looking into its bottom, I don't know why it is red in there?) stationary part of the motor which is firmly affixed to its hanger pipe. The brass 'makers plate' is on its underside, the 'oiling instructions' plate is on top. And it is, also, as heavy as it looks like it should be... ;-) :-)

    I tend to think it's a pretty good guess to call it 1920's for this one too -- if anyone knows otherwise please speak up!

    [and, for the immediate future anyway for the same reasons as the brass one, it is also likely to remain a quite oversized "doorstop"... <LOL>]

      I normally don't like red, but it gives flare. You might find replacement parts through the fan collector's association. You'll need to provide the model number, of course.
      No one thought to save these, so most parts are reproduced.
