I was given this stuffed monkey when I was about 5 years old and told it was "Mugs the Roller Skating Monkey" but I can not find any information. I'm guessing 1950's. His shoes are removable and rubber as well as hands and face. No banana in left hand. The cloth is unique as well as his clothing. Anyone have any ideas? Appreciate the support!

I believe he is a Chimpanzee , the most famous toy Chimp was Zip but yours is not him . I agree 1950's but hard to say who made him with no label or markings . Did you look on back of his neck for markings ?
