11x14 photograph back -lite in 16x20 carved rosewood and gold leaf light-box. This is not a lenticular photo. Close up shows a barrier strip similar to Fredrick E. Ives patent. To my knowledge, Ives never did one this big. It's been in my family for over 80 years! Amazing 3D image that is even seen when titled 90 degrees and from any angle. Every year I've tried to get some info on who or where it's been produced. No name or info on this piece printed inside. No luck so far. Any help greatly appreciated.

This is very cool and I see what you are saying about when tilted! If you don't get any answers here, you may want to take it to a frame shop. They actually know more than many give them credit for. Go to one that's been around for a while and if nothing then, just try another. Definitely hang on to it at least until you know about it. Your family didn't keep it because it's a picture or painting of a relative, right?!?
