Bought at goodwill, think its missing something on the top, but most importantly I'm trying to decipher the signature on the bottom, approximately 5" tall

Artist on your glass piece is Paul Bendzunas , and it does look like it's missing something at the top ; especially with that handle attached . It is a lovely color , sorry I haven't a clue as to what your item may be but it is a nice find .

Yes , It's an oil lamp and theres a little glass insert that holds a wick that sits in the the top of the lamp . The 10 I believe stands for made in 2010 . It's a modern version of the old candle stick on a tray and carry handle to hold on your finger . I'm in Australia but I believe that you can get new fibreglass replacement wicks and fluid with a tiny little funnel to refill the lamp in the US as they really do work , for your consideration , Thanks , Les
