Hello everyone.
Just had to show this to you, so excited to have it as vintage greyhound jewellery is so hard to find here and this one popped up on Ebay Aus last week and I just had to have it lol!
It measures a tiny 1.5cm long and is marked "STERLING" on the reverse which I believe would make it made in the USA, possibly 1940s research indicates.
You should be able to see that the greyhound at the back is wearing the number 2 on its racing jacket, which I think is great and is the reason that I have posted the 3rd picture which shows our adopted girl PeeJay, now almost 9 years old, winning a race as a 2 year old, with a number 2 on her racing jacket.
The 4th picture is our beautiful girl.......we love her so much!!

Happy to have found her racing picture, but makes me sad at the same time if you know what I mean......just so glad that we got her away from that scene!
She is well protected now and it is almost a year since my post when she came to live with us. Thanks Pascale, I like to think that she loves me, the way she snuggles me makes me think that she does and is happy:-)

People who adopt rescue animals are very special people. People who adopt animals that have been put through the wringer, such as a working Greyhound, are even more special :)
