The "Bakelite mistaken for amber and amber for bakelite" lot

Pretty honey colored bakelite bangle and necklace, plus amber stretch bracelet.
Online buy. As the seller lives here in Bratislava, she agreed to meet in person. Ste asked only 2 EUR a piece as she thought its a plastic "only".
When we the lady arrived she told me that she asked someone from a jewelry shop to have a look on the lot prior to our meeting. They told her that everything is plastic, except there are a few amber beads in the necklace. She asked the same price for the necklace nevertheless, so I paid 6 EUR in total.
Well I dont know what tests did they do in that jewelry shop, but the stretch bracelet passed both scent test and electrostatic tect as amber. And I tested several beads from the necklace and everything is bakelite and nothing amber. Very pretty honey colored bakelite I would say - as well as the other bangle - both bakelite beauties!
My conscience called and I thought about contacting the lady again to ask her if she wants the stretch bracelet back, as I think its amber. Decided otherwise - she made no difference in the price for the necklace, be it amber, or plastic.
