Everyone has been so helpful each time I put something new on and I first want to say Thank You!! I am hoping I won't be asking too much with the three photos I have today. The first two Are of course the same necklace but I wanted to show the detail in the second one as much as I could .(sorry about it being inside my home) It is unmarked. It looks maybe native American but so does the last photo to me so I feel lost! In photo #3 I have heard the term jelly belly in some insect jewelry and maybe this is just one of the many unmarked ones but the detail in the wings is awesome. They have small springs and look as if they were made to fly. I have been unable to find a marking on any of these or maybe I dont know where to look? Any help??
Hello Jenn, the insect brooch is called a "trembler" because the springs on the wings make them tremble when you wear the brooch:-) Have a look on google, there are lots on there. Can't help with the others sorry, but they are pretty:-)
hello, again TassieDevil,
I have written so many search terms on Google and never found a match for my strange fly but when I entered" trembler" I found some a lot more to my likings! Thank you so much! As usual, you come with knowledge.
Happy to be able to help Jenn, and thanks for the thanks :-) )
Hi Jenn & TassieDevil,
Congrats Jenn, a trembler combined with a jelly belly - please correct me if I'm wrong, but to be called a 'jelly-belly' the piece must have a translucent lucite belly.
