I bought this doll from a coworker 14-15 years ago. She had it since she was a child. She was in her 50-60’s. The bonnet and dress was her christening gown. I cannot find any information on this doll or maker. I cannot even find a year it may have been made. I am looking for any information possible.
These 3 face dolls were copied from original one named Trudy , Many companies copied the 3 face head and also people made them in ceramic doll making classes . So not all are factory made . Yours to my eye appears to be a homemade one and painted by person who put initials on neck . Hard to tell by a photo . She does not have the knob on top of her head to turn it which they usually had . She appears to be dated about 1980's . Hard to say exactly maker . Dress seems home made as I see pinking shears were used and were not used in factory clothes and hem seems to be hand sewn but again photo makes it hard to see .
I know this is not from the 70-80’s. I bought this from a lady I worked with for years. She was in her 50-60’s. She said she had had this doll since she was a child and the bonnet and dress was her christening gown. She said she had played with it since she was a child. She said it use to have a wig that went with the doll. She also said she thought her grandmother bought the head and hands and made the body.
