These earrings are identical to my previous post, except for the colour. I found the brooch at a different place but I think the stones are close enough to make a set.
What is interesting to me is the fact that one of the earrings is signed and the other one is not.
Thanks for looking:)
Thanks a lot, Caperkid:)
Just more proof that not all pieces were signed, especially if they came together. There are some who will not believe. I remeber reading family squabbles on the internet some years ago, from what I have seen that was all taken down, as it was horrible - its good riddance.
Gorgeous freiheit love love !
BANG! Reminds me of fireworks!
PhilDMorris, thanks so much for your comment. Sorry for the late reply. I was really surprised to see that only one of the earrings was signed. I have seen that on Mexican earrings too. The stores I go to sometimes miss these pieces because they check only one earring - that's good for me because I got some pairs for next to nothing -LOL
My daughter got me "The Masterpiece Collection" for Christmas and asked to have it signed by Ms. Caldwell. What a Christmas present for me! So far I have only browsed through the book but I believe that the authors make a point that not all Sherman pieces where signed. I feel that if the design and the stones are identical and one has the actual piece in one's hand, it becomes rather easy to tell if it is a Sherman jewel or not. But this is just my humble opinion.
BTW: I adore your growing Sherman collection!!!
