Frostie Root Beer Advertising Clock

I obtained this Frostie Root Beer advertising clock at a sale for a very low price. It is basically a plastic and faux wood composition The lamps worked, but its electric motor was kaput. A replacement motor, if available, would be prohibitively expensive, so I installed a quartz movement instead.

Not finding a quartz movement with a long shaft, necessitated installing the transparent movement on the clock’s translucent face….hence the shadow on it’s face’s center. Despite that, the clock looks pretty good, and works well following its repair.
