Hello everyone
I have had this pendant since 2007 and fell in love with it the moment I saw it!
This pendant is not signed or marked anywhere so could possibly be pinchbeck. Took it to a jeweller who dated it around 1890 and said the stones are 6 Amethysts and 1 Chrysoberyl. These are all set in like cups with prongs (there is probably a name for this?)
The pendant has lovely decorative wire work which I believe is called Cannetille, and on the reverse is a glass covered locket area for hair or picture. This is empty with just the blue fabric under the glass.
Must admit I am still smitten with this stunning delicate and little (1 inch diameter ) pendant which I have worn several times over the last 10 years!!
