METAL OUTDOOR 1940-50's PIG'S HEAD SIGN FROM LOCAL RESTAURANT

Pictured here is one of three metal pig's heads that were located on a popular local restaurant called THE THREE PIGS before the era of food franchises became popular. These metal heads hung on the outside of the building starting in the 1940-50's for many years. Every town had their own "mom & pop" restaurant where the food was excellent & the atmosphere was friendly. The three heads were later removed & updated with more modern colorful signs. A coffee cup from this restaurant is also pictured here. Regretfully, only memories & various items like these exist now days.
