I found this while thrifting. It is marked 925 Israel. It is 3inches long. Don't know much about the artist or product. Chime in if you know.

Mezuzah pendant. The mezuzah is an ancient Jewish practice of placing a small scroll within a decorative box on the doorposts of Jewish homes.

Thank you Efesgir! I didn't know the name of this, but I knew it was special.
Hi...I lived in Israel, and Sharon Sadan (the artist who made your necklace) is a very dear friend of mine. Until about a year ago, Sharon had her own studio in the Cardo of the Jewish Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem. Her studio and store was called “the Roman Arch”, and that is where your piece would have been made. Though Sharon makes beautiful mezuzot, your piece is actually a Bedouin tears bottle I believe. The glass used in your necklace is Sharon’s specialty: ancient Roman glass from excavations within Israel. The silver work is also a specialty of Sharon’s: Yemenite filigree, a very famous style of silver wire work brought to Israel by Jewish immigrants from Yemen. This is indeed a very special piece, and cherish and enjoy it! I know Sharon pours her amazing talent and beautiful heart into every piece she makes.
Asfoora, thank you so much. Such exciting news, someone that personally knows the artist. The glass is iridescent and the sterling work is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this important information.
