Base is stippled. Puts it at no earlier than the 1930s. That agrees with the pyroglaze/ACL label, which come about in the '30s. Hair products came in glass till at least the 1970s. A clear image of the base may provide a maker's mark, or a maker' mark and date-code, for more specific age. Right now I'm guessing 1950s.

I'm not specifically familiar with your bottle, but familiar with the large genre of "fantasy bottles" which are bottles made more recently imitating old items to one degree or another.

In the case of your item, I can see that it is a late 20th century machine-made bottle with an ACL - applied color label - that is of recent origin given the look and what I can see of the bottle/label attributes. I would guess it is no earlier than the 1970s and likely why there isn't much information on it - it is of "recent" manufacture.

      Hope that helps

Thanks to both of you - strange as I am in Western Australia and another exact same bottle is in Sweden ! So origin of the bottle could be anywhere as we are almost opposite each other. Anybody else have an idea??????
