    Seems suitable to post these artifacts I own on Martin Luther King Day. The APRIL 16, 1968 WIN Magazine - PEACE & FREEDOM Through Nonviolent Action - Martin Luther King memorial issue. A leaflet a National Guardsman picked off the ground when called into Memphis that night of the assassination. And a program from a 1964 Civil Rights Rally in Chicago featuring the Reverend King.

      Thank you very much for this post, HippieArchaeologist. Now, 50 yrs after Dr. King's murder, our society has come *so far* -- but obviously has SO MUCH FURTHER to go... :-(
