Has 2 holes in the bottom but no stamp. Any ideas on a brand or age? Got it for a friend and she loves it, just wish I could tell her more about it.

I don't see the two holes on bottom, wonder why ?

I was describing bottom as I don't have a photo of it. There is no company stamp or residue from a possible sticker either. Just looking for a brand or year it was made.

This looks to be a mid-century item. Would be quite difficult to tell you who made it as there is no information. It would have been helpful to see the bottom. It might have had a sticker at one time. I suggest taking new photos with the dog against a light, neutral background - no other things in the photo - and doing a google image search. I did not find anything similar using these photos.

He's a lifelike, beautiful Shepherd, a real dog must have been the model. Love it!
