For a bit of Spring promise in this chilly NY winter, here is a daisy type set by Weiss (1942-1971), a 3"L mauve petal & amethyst rhinestone center brooch, and a 1 1-4"pair of pink petal w. amethyst center clip earrings, all signed. Flowers all equal sized.
By request, hope you enjoy Dante!
For those desiring more Weiss info and mark verification see website CJCI-researching costume jewelry

Ditto Pascale, today in NY it is a miserable freezing rain-snow mix, and I was glad someone asked to see my Weiss flowers, can't wait to see real ones popping up! Thanx for the lovely compliment
Glad you enjoyed this brooch set Ken & it's a bright spot in this bleak winter, your kind comments always greatly appreciated
Thank you very much for the luv

Your welcome :)
They are simply lovely Jenni, and the photos are amazing!
Another beautiful brooch Jenni ! And earrings toooo :)
A lot of the Weiss flowers are so close to the Sherman ones. They are beautiful and I love them.
Thank you so much for posting this, it's stunning! Such a beautiful colour, I love it :)
Sorry for the weather there in NY, it sounds freezing. Maybe you would prefer to be where I am in Australia today, it's 97F (or 36C)!
Very kind compliment Karen, esp about my photos as am just getting used to my new tablet camera, more cumbersome than the phone camera
So glad you liked these Roy, many thanks for the nice comment
I'm so flattered you compare this to Sherman Phil, yours are very dazzling & super gorgeous
Dante I'm really glad you enjoyed this post, the colors & stones are a bit different than yours but the same style, and your opaque stone sets are very beautiful as well. This set had all the Weiss marks but as I said, many will just label one or the other but belong together. Yes today I would be much happier in Australia than in the 20'sF!
Thanks so much for the luv

Jenni - did Weiss also do this brooch in black metal? I have one to post that is very similar but unmarked. Just don't know if it is the same.
Hi Lori
Weiss produced a great deal of unsigned jewelry as per 'net research, and flower designs were among their most popular - this one came in many types including milk glass and black (i.e. japanned) metal, your design of today is slightly different but still could be by Weiss. Glad you liked this one & totally appreciate all the kind loves for my posts today, will get around to responses later - really pleased you found the ORA animals :) luv Jenni
Thanks Lori & Cokeman for the thoughtful love, I am so pleased that you liked this Weiss flower set & appreciate the support

Thanks again DejaVu for the thoughtful love for this Weiss flower set, really happy you like it and most grateful to you
The brooch is a delicate beauty with its varying shades of pink and green. And the earrings are gorgeous too. Love how the central chaton is set with multiple prongs, which suggests stamens! Just delightful -- and the very essence of spring.
Thank you Faith for the love, and rhineisfine for your super compliments on this set :) I was very lucky to find this pretty mauve Weiss flower, then the earrings to make the set. Agreed a very lovely Weiss set and I do love to wear the brooch in Spring
