I have been collecting Wedgwood Jasperware for several years, so I thouht I would share my collection of Bud Vases. They come in various shapes and colours. Blue is the most common colour, but there is also Green, Teal Green, Pink and the darker blue, called Portland blue. 2 of the vases are known as Tri-colour, that is they are blue with white and dark blue. The last picture shows my Wedgwood cabinet, which is full to bursting, and that's just my smaller items!
I love the variety of Wedgwood's jasperware colors, in your bud vase collection I adore the shell cameo on the teal in particular
Delightful group Adele, and I love your shelves full. They look great together with their variety of shapes and colours. Amazing collection really!
Thank you Newfld and Racer4 for your kind comments, and for the loves!
Lovely collection and display Adele :-)
I only recently started to collect. I love these
Your shelves runneth over......but great to see a fine Staffordshire product, and in so many shapes and colours too!
Just a comment from Australia ..... a dealer friend mentioned to me last week that she is selling coloured Jasper from Wedgwood like hot cakes recently to Chinese buyers here in Sydney. Not the blue though. It has to be the other colours.
Thanks all for your comments. I must admit, I look for the different colours, as they tend to be harder to find than the blue, though I look out for blue shapes I don’t have too!
Fabulous collection..:-)
