Here's #3 from my collection of antique ceiling fan motors...I suppose if I truly have half a dozen of 'em, I should actually call them a "collection" instead of a "pile"...? <LOL>
Its brass tag on black painted housing identifies it as an "ALTERNATING CURRENT FAN MOTOR" by "GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. U.S.A.". Its wiring connections and some kind of inductor/transformer/?? thing are hidden under a sheet metal cover on its topside, and there's a cover (or light fixture or something) missing from its bottom. This one hangs from a roughly 2' long pipe, with no surviving bezel/cover for its ceramic/iron bracket. Like most of the others I'll guess its roughly 1920's vintage, but don't know for certain.
