Here is a bottle found at an old farm house site in Makanda, Illinois 62958
Probably 40’s or 50’s but some evidence exists thy it could be as far back as 1916

The National Bottling Co. of St. Louis was started about 1908 by Israel Schucart. Israel died in 1917 and his wife Jennie and son Jacob ran the business til the mid 1950's. Looks the like smaller version 6 -7 oz? Probably dates to the mid to late 1920's
      A very nice find, indeed!

It is 22oz , in raised letters like the rest, just poor pictures. Not far away we’re a 55 Coke and 56 RC cola bottles. Those were clearly dated in the bottom. But not this NBC bottle. It has a ‘2’ on the bottom.

Wow! It is a quart size. I should have recognized that. I have the same bottle in my collection and it dates to the mid 1920's. Yours would be the same.
