Hi all. I'll start out with the huge black onyx pendant in the middle. That was just given to me by a young girl that just went into boot camp in Oklahoma. I met her on instagram actually and she was moving a few months back so I told her to come over and I loaded her up with things for her house. It was a relief to get those things gone! She sells Native American Jewelry and knew I wanted a black onyx heart someone had for sale and apologized for this not being a heart! I love this piece more every time I step in front of a mirror with it on. With the bale, it measures 3-1/4" long. I wear it on a long, thicker chain. How sweet was that??? It's signed HT. Haven't had time to look it up yet and didn't ask her either.
The heart earrings I've had for a while, and the two rings there I had made for myself from the same maker. The black and silver one is petrified wood 1-1/2" long and the one pointy one is a tree root I think from a tree in Africa. I had no idea it was so long when I bought it, 2-1/2" long, but I wear in once in a while.
And then there is the Indian Head coin, uncirculated and 10 oz of 999 silver. I'm planning to get one of those rings that go around it so I can wear it as a pendant. A long time family friend just gave that to me a couple weeks ago! The back of it is a buffalo.
The last two pics are Christmas presents my kids and I got for my mom. I made a mess outta March there but by the time I get to December, they should be good! She can't see the days so I'm trying to darken them for her and there's lots of coloring to do on it and the last pic, obviously is a puzzle. I'm trying to keep her occupied and her mind working so that she stays sharp. I have to say, since we started doing this puzzle, she honestly has improved way more than I thought she would, so that's pretty cool to know.
Thanks all for stopping in!
A great story, and I love your pendant and sterling coin so much, that is so thoughtful for you to do for you mother !~
Thanks Phil! Ya know, it's just hard to see them slipping so I figured I need to get her mind occupied and what better than a puzzle! It has been a huge change in just three weeks! I love that pendant too!!! Thanks sweets!
