This old floor lamp came from the State surplus-property warehouse numerous years ago, likely having spent its first years doing duty in some random 'exam room' in a State medical facility/school/etc somewhere. (or at least, I think I remember similar lamps in my MD.'s office years ago...I'm assuming that's what it was for??)
The whole thing has a chrome plated exterior, its half-round shade is about 7" across and attached to a roughly 12" long gooseneck, itself attached to a telescoping stand which can be anywheres from about 3' to 4-1/2' tall by simply sliding its upper portion up or down. Its base is about 9-1/2" across and is actually filled with a solid concrete-ish substance, making the lamp quite stable even while being bent around while fully extended.
There aren't any obvious manufacturer's marks on it, but by its seemingly original style of power cord (and its origin) I'll guess it is likely a product of the 1960's-70's.
Thanks for sharing the <love>, Caperkid, fortapache, aura, and EJW-54! :-) :-) :-)
