Vintage Imperial Glass Daisy and Button Marigold Carnival Compote, it's been used a lot over the years and unfortunately the wear shows on it. Most of the others of this type I've seen have a far more pronounced, deeply scalloped edge; this one has a nominal amount.

not sure where the AKA 'Daisy & Button' came from for this pattern; tho' replacements does use that AKA. The pattern was introduced by Imperial Glass as #505 'Bellaire' c1912 and somewhere along the line collectors have called the pattern 'Octagon'. This pattern was reissued for many up to about the time of Imperial Glass closing.

Thank you so much TallCakes! I looked that name up and it is indeed what I have, not the Daisy & Button description.
