Had this one a good while, and previously it was owned by a couple of older ladies that died in their 90's some 15 years or more ago. It has had it's share of bumps and chips, but still a piece I dearly love. The mirror has a lot of speckling on it, and I'm not sure there is anything that can be done for that. It is 48 1/2" high x 37 1/2" wide, and very heavy. Obviously at some point (well before I got it) there were some sort of hat/coat hooks (4) on it.
I'd dearly love to know about how old it is, and what style of hooks would have been on it so I can look for some at an architectural supply store.
Lovely carving around this mirror & your gramophones are a nice reflection!
Thank you Newfld, I love older carved wood pieces. And I have a major love of the older mechanical and musical pieces also. When I fell in love with this mirror it was gifted to me later; I feel especially honored to have it.

The hooks on the first mirror seem to be popular - seen them on many hall mirrors. Not sure you should hang a coat on a mirror, they would be quite heavy.
Thank you Gillian! The simplistic ball-tipped ones seem prevalent on the repros, and some of the antique ones also. Any guides to the right ones are appreciated!!
You're very welcome!
