Demantoid Garnets set in 14Kt White Gold

This is one of three rings that I have gotten that has Demantoid Garnets. It is a very small, skinny and simple ring of 14Kt White Gold that weighs only 2.50 grams. It is set with 3 beautiful but small Demantoid Garnets that total .83Cts. I love simple or different and this has both for me, the setting is different along with the simplicity of the band. From the side it looks a bit like a prong setting but then the Garnets are wrapped around 3 quarters of a circle, each. That is what made me wants this ring...the setting, the nice Demantoids and the simplicity of the ring. I think that Green colored stones look the best when set in White Gold but I do have another ring that is yellow gold too.

The third ring has a setting that has the 6 Garnets in two rows from North to South and also has two rows of Diamonds offsetting them. In that way it looks like two tone gold and my mother fell in love with it when I showed it to her. So, mom has that third ring...she wears it all the time.

I love the way a Demantoid Garnet looks in Incandescent lighting, they have more fire than Diamonds! In natural lighting they are not so explosive with the same kind of colors the way the stones are indoors. Enjoy the Pics :)
