I wonder if anyone might be able to tell me about this: It’s solid copper, just shy of 8 inches tall without a mark that I can see on the bottom. The pattern is twisted vines and leaves — with a twig (and what looks like perhaps okra?). It appears to be very old and I am thinking I should not clean it. I’d welcome any input, thanks!
They are made of spelter, often had a electroplate addition of copper to them. especially if they were patinated originally. Some were made of bronze but had an electroplate to them. Would have to see in person to tell which is which.
Thank you PhilDMorris!
