By shape, particularly the lip work, I would think this vase labeled SG has been made by Sanyu Glass. The colours are not typical of most Sanyu although there is a Kamei vase I think has been made by Sanyu in that green and orange. The pink is new to me.
No definite attribution here, just a bit of Sanyu evidence.
Pretty thing anyway.
Height: 25cm
This is so gorgeous, those beautiful colors swirled together are terrific on this vase, I love it
Beautiful vase! Not obvious choice of colours makes it very attractive.
My immediate thought on this Karen was "Watermelon"......a very pretty vase!
Haven't they done well to achieve so many shades with those three colours.....and probably even more as the sun moves round! And you of course, Karen, do actually have some sun :)
Thanks Jenni. It is a nice version of Japanese multi coloured glass, different and happy. Glad you like it.
Ivonne it is an unusual combination and does work well. Thanks for the love and comment!
Judy, hereby this is known as the watermelon vase. Great name, thanks!
I'm sorry if it's been a bit sunless there Peggy, our glass needs light to live!
It's a nice bit of glass work I agree. Thanks!
