Basket Fruit Bowl

This is a fruit bowl that has been in our house for years. As to where it came from I've no idea but it possibly came from a friend who travelled to Turkey or someplace similar and gifted it to us. We use it to hold bananas because that's really the only fruit that suits its shape. I've never seen another like it anywhere and for all the years its been in our house its colours are still so bright and clear. There s no markings on it anywhere apart form the number 68 on its base.
