Here we have a 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1. I am not sure of the 'scale', but have had this for a long time. Given to me by a friend. I used to have a 1973 Mach 1 back in my early days. It had a 351 Cleveland engine. I had it rebuilt with headers put on it and kinda beat it down. but it was fun! It has the letters 'ERTL' on the bottom. The car itself is about 10 in long.
    Thanx for lookin!

A good buddy of mine had a 1971 Mach 1 with the 429 SCJ. His SCJ came with drag pack V code rear gears, oil cooler and factory equipped 780cfm Holley 4-bbl carbs. Pretty fun second generation Mach 1. Cool model....love the dual hood scoops on the 71 to 73s.

Thanx TimeTraveller, buckethead and Coopergirl. Even though I am mostly a Mopar man I always loved the Mustang and Ford engines. Ford's 427 OHC hemi engine would a nice one to find.

Coopergirl, My 73 Mach 1 was a pretty big car. The visibility wasn't the greatest.

Do you mean back window overall visibility, on the Mach 1?
    5. iggy iggy, 7 years ago
Yes, it was the back window. Very poor visibility especially when I filled my air shocks up all the way! But still an great fun muscle car.

Yes, they were are bear for visibility for sure :)

Cool model even the dash looks like I recall.
I had a 351 Cleveland from my old Gran Torino that I couldn't give away lol theses days it would bring a buck or two.
They were a fun car, Had one friend (in Royal Oak) that had one back when with a stall speed trans, damn thing would change lanes going from 1st to 2nd lol, Another friend was about 90% restoring one last year when he passed.
