Found this at a local thrift and was immediately charmed. I had to smile again after putting in a new needle and finding out that not only did it work, but it also sounded great! Even though the design is a bit conservative on this one I still love those funky tapered legs... SO COOL. This unit was built in 1965 by Magnavox nearly in my own back yard. My grandmother actually worked as an inspector in the same factory this was produced out of, and I tried but I could not find her QC mark on it. Wouldn't that have been a trip?

Make sure you have some great vinyl and play away!!
Thanks for the comment! I have always had a strong connection to timeless music in the analog although strangely I've never considered collecting vinyl until only recent. This console has brought me back to my senses, and man is it FUN.
I love my record player !! Cool post and even cooler that it works :)
