    I think the sign is about 40 years old , its tin and its painted .my son got this sign for me some time ago . when I lived it the Chicago area some years ago . I work at a hot dog stand in the summers selling the best hot dog in the country .and it brings back old memories . also eat a lot too .

      I concur with your age estimation, purvis. I remember those very same signs from my own childhood (late 1970's, somewhat downstate from Chicago) at a then local restaurant called "UNDERDOGS" which featured the Vienna Beef dogs.

      I recently posted pics of a small metal ashtray I own which also came from that restaurant -- it includes the VIENNA name but not logo.
