    Gundalow
    (24 items)

This statue appears to be bronze on a 9”x6” oval marble base. It weighs 10.4 pounds and there does not appear to be any markings on it to identify a manufacturer or sculptor. I can’t date it but it has been in the family since the 1950s, possibly decades before then. If anyone has information regarding this piece, or similar pieces, such as dates of manufacture or company that made it, I’d appreciate hearing from you. It may have been purchased in NYC area.

Wonderful piece. Also, great that their trunks are in the upright position for "Good Luck"!!

      Thanks
In my visits to various antique shops, I have yet to encounter one of these or a similar piece with a different animal. I’m sure a number were made, and they won’t wear out, so I suspect someone on collectors weekly will have not only seen one but know the history behind it.
