HippieArchaeologist recently posted a cool old rock shirt which inspired me to show my oldest one. Here we have a vintage rock shirt from the band 'YES', one of my favorite bands. The shirt is from 1979. I wish I could say I got it at a Yes concert in 79 but sadly I cannot. A friend of one of my brothers gave it to me in the mid 80's as he knew I loved Yes and he didn't care for them too much. I am not sure, or remember where he got it from. I have many more Rock shirts/jersey's, but all from the 80's - 90's and newer. This is my only one from the 70's and I cherish it. I used to wear it in the 80's, but now it is not in the greatest shape. But still very colorful. Some old rock shirts can go for some $$$ on the open mkt.
Thanx for lookin!

I saw Yes back in June of '79 at the International Amphitheater in Chicago. Their encore included Roundabout....it was a pretty cool concert :)
buckethead thanx, that is awesome! My first chance to see them was in 1980 but it did not work out. When they reformed in 1984 was my 1st time. Many many more times after that.
I saw yes in 2002. It was the classic lineup with Rick Wakeman. The consensus was that they were rocking. Much more of an edge on their sound that one would expect. Especially Chris Squire shredding during The Fish.
Thank you
fortapache - I also seen that tour, incredible. Chris Squire R.I.P.
