Indicolite Tourmaline Set In 14Kt Yellow Gold

This is a nice 14Kt Gold ring, with a flawless 1.092ct Indicolite Tourmaline at the center and surrounded by 8 round 1.3mm White Topaz stones on the four sides. This ring is designed to sit up high on your finger and I was always bumping into things with it at work so I put it away and I wear it now sometimes if I am going out to dinner. Indicolite Tourmaline, like most Tourmalines, is usually hard to find without inclusions in the stones. I got very lucky in picking this ring in an online sale, I paid less than $50.00 for 14Kt Gold and a flawless Indicolite Tourmaline..WhooHoo!! :)

This ring has the high setting for the head in order to allow light to easily come through from underneath, it allows the color to be seen easier and better. Indicolite can be light to dark Blue or Blue-Green. They can even look like Turquoise , I took a picture to show the color coming through the stone with light, but I do not think it came out good. This stone, when held up to light and in natural light outdoors, shows a Blue, Blue/Green and sometimes more like a Teal coloring can be seen.
