I posted this vase a few months ago thinking it was Pallme-Konig. I think I was wrong about that. It is about 17 cm high, cased glass, red inside with clear outer layer, cold cut top. Unusual decor with trails of blue, cream, brown, green and violet embedded on top of the outer clear surface layer then mould blown; no pontil. It probably dates from the 1920's or 30's. Ruckl was suggested as a possibility, however to my knowledge their glass never has trailings outside the final layer of cased glass.
Based on the shape I am tentatively assigning it to Kralik until other examples turn-up to confirm or refute this attribution. As always any and all insights/comments gleefully received !
Very cool, there appears to be an orange version from Ruckl with similar drizzles... yellow white and burgundy on orange with no iridescence tho...
I'd like to see the Ruckl vase to which you refer ?

JERICHO - re your link to post 244273, and the vase on the left with black,white and yellow bands, do these bands stand-out from the surface or are they encased in an outer layer of clear glass ?

Thanks charcoal, I agree the shape does suggest Rückl as possible maker, although I'd like to see this decor on another shape. The veins do stand out from the surface rather than lie under a layer of clear glass as is usual for Rückl.
The decor on the third image in the first link is a powder decor. The basic shape of that is the basic shape of the first image n that post. That decor appears quite similar to this one. Little different color in the veins, but quite similar overall.

This bowl by Kralik appears to be the same powder decor as the vase I pointed out in the first link.

If the bowl is Kralik, and the decor in the first link is the same decor (as it appears to be), then the shape of the vase in image 3 in the first link, would strongly point to the first vase in the first link as being Kralik also.
To me at least, this is a stronger link to Kralik, than the simplistic form in comment 7 is to Rückl.
I do think that more examples are definitely needed to nail it down accurately.

This decor is usually referred to as Kaleidoscope, Marbled, Swirled or Webbed. Search one of those words on CW to view additional examples. These decors are usually attributed to Kralik from what I understand.
There are lots of things you "say" charcoal.... Sadly, there are very few you can actually support..... Same charcoal.... same nonsense.... just a different day in research paradise..... LOL

Thank you both for your input. I still err towards Kralik in attributing this piece but will keep an open mind.
