    These two individuals are in a framed picture (water colour/hand painted) - we would love to know where they are from. One man is covered in leaves the other in both leaves and peacock feathers. Any help would be greatly appreciated to identify the ethnic origins or tribe...

      Beautifully colored art, something about them suggests feudal Japan, esp the man in peacock robe lighting a fire with sticks

      look up 'Japanese mythology people wearing leaves and peacock feathers'.

      Shengnong on the left and Fuxi on the right. Could be Korean but I think they are Chinese. The primordial gods are common to both.
