For the Chinese New Year, here is a 3" raspberry rhinestone on goldtone brooch showing the snake-like mythical Chinese dragon, who has four legs and two black eyes. By designer Edgar Berebi of NY (1981-2003), late 80s-early 90s. His mark is in raised italics so hope you can make out the slanted name, best photo I could get
Gosh Jenni, he is fabulous!
Your new posts are wonderful Jenni!! Fabulous indeed!
I'm really pleased that you enjoyed this Judy, thanks so much
Scott you're so kind to love all my posts today, sometimes I try to do a theme, today it's Chinese New Year which also gives me the chance to show my dog brooches as it's the "dog year"
Ken appreciate the kind compliments, it is rather exotic & most closely resembles the dragon/lion dance figures seen about now in NY' s Chinatown
Eileen, some info on Edgar Berebi - a designer from Brooklyn NY who started with earrings in 1981, then expanded to brooches & pins thru mid-90s, later designing Faberge type eggs
Thank you all so much for the luv

Yes Phil it is a good color combo, the designer was going for some "wow" here as the bright goldtone was a bit hard to photograph w/o glare
