I was at the bank and received this coin from the teller, after asking her if i could have it. i usually ask the bank if they have any odd coins or bills when i cash my check and she gave me this. can't find anything about it. the gold if it is plate, is a heavy plating. I took this to a collector and he said he has never seen anything like it. i will be getting it weighed within the week , any ideas?

Probably an SMS. eBay is loaded with them.

We used to plate coins in school during chemistry class.

SpiritBear you must be as old as me, we also dunked them in mercury which was allowed back then.
