I changed my mine on this one. I do love this period in time. I have this lamp hanging out in the mancave above the cash register. You have a nice collection!! Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful week!! :-)

I recently bought an antique hanging oil lamp at an estate sale. There are no markings on the lamp, and I am trying to identify the manufacture and period. The lamp bracket is exactly like your Eastlake, but it has a brass font and a brass shade. There is a large brass ball that hangs from the chain and acts as a counterweight for the lamp. Hanging from the brass ball is a brass smoke bell. I would appreciate any information that you could share on identfying my lamp. Thanks!!

Boomer...that sounds unique, I have never daw an Eastlake with brass font and counterweight. It could be original, but.....sounds like someone has taken parts from a victorian oil lamp and most likely mixed with an Eastlake oil, they were pretty standard in their makings....I would like to see a picture of your lamp.
