A shop that is normally diligent about searching their jewelry had a jar of it sitting behind the counter. I asked the owner if I could buy it. He said there was only "rommel" (junk) in it and I asked how much for the rommel. He said "10 Euro" I had already spotted the chevron ring, so I said OK. The chevron ring is tri-color 585 gold with the Waarborg assay mark. The locket is also 585 gold and has the assay mark. It was hanging on a cheapo gold plated chain. The elephant is 750 gold, marked on the bail. The diamond pendant was already on that 585 gold chain. I could not find a mark on the pendant but it tests as 585 gold. The horseshoe is 585 gold. The gold scrap value for these items is more than $225.00. :-)))))))
Thanks for looking!
